What is the normal class size ? What should I wear in the class ? What is the cost of living there ? Do I need to immunize before I go ? How far in advance should I apply ? How long does it take for the application process ? What are the requirements for admission ? Can I apply if I do not speak any Local Language? Where can I buy the air tickets? Is safety a concern in the city where your programs are located? Generally safety is not a concern in those cities, especially some of our programs are hosted on campus. However, like everywhere in the world, there is no absolute guaranteed safety especially when you travel, please be aware of safety issues What kind of food do I expect to eat? There are some local restaurants around the program locations, and Kentucky Fried Chicken and MacDonald restaurants as well. What services does LanguBridge provide? We provide the following services:
What is the normal class size ? Depends on the program you are in, sometimes the classes is small with few students, a large class is around 15 students. What should I wear in the class ? Same as you did in your own country. There is no specific dress code, but make sure to keep it neat. What is the cost of living there? Our summer programs mostly include the accommodation and meals, so you should not expect to spend too much beyond the program fee while you are there. For general program, or Tokyo summer with dormitory, you should expect to spend between 6-10 USD for a meal, however, you can cook in the shared kitchen. Do I need to immunize before I go? It is wise to check the immunization requirement of the country you are going to. How far in advance should I apply? It is always good to apply early, so you can have everything ready and be well prepared for your trip. Few summer programs may become full before the deadline. The deadline for most programs is 45 days before the program start date. How long does it take for the application process? After we receive your application and program deposit, we will reserve you a space in the program. Depending on the program you are applying for and the country you are from, you might need a letter for short term visa application, then it will take 2-3 weeks at least. But for a student visa application to Japan, it can take about 6 months for the whole process. Considering the time needed for visa application and ticket booking, we advice you to apply early. What are the requirements for the admission? There are different age and education requirements depending on the program you are applying for. We take students from any country if we believe there is no problem with their visa. Our students mainly come from USA, Canada, European countries, etc. Can I apply if I do not speak any local language ? Yes. This is why you want to study abroad. The classes are categorized into different levels. We welcome friends to study in the program. This helps them to live and travel abroad. Where can I buy the air tickets? You can book your air tickets through your own travel agent, or we can provide travel agency information. They are dedicated to air travel to Asia, often you can get a good quote for the tickets. |
