Tokyo summer: Courses - Culture Activities - Trips

Courses & Trips:

The Tokyo summer programs all have a focus on course instruction, a mixture of culture exposures, language activities and culture trips.

The classes are conducted by teachers with experience of teaching Japanese language to international students.  Students are separated into different classes according to their language proficiency.

The 5 different types of summer programs have different designated dates, courses and activities to suit your needs.

Tokyo summer A, B, C & D: have more components of organized trips and cultural activities.  Except the lessons, trips and activities, students are on their own, thus they are expected to be independent.  They normally prefer to spend the free time with their host families or their new friends.  These programs have classes for all levels.

The classes are Monday to Friday 20 lessons a week.  They run in the morning from 9:10am-12:40pm.   Many culture activities and trips are included, they range from tea ceremony to calligraphy, from Asakusa trip to Harajuku trip, and trip to Fuji Mountain or Kyoto.  Please refer to the program schedule for details.

Tokyo summer E: is a culture immersion program, it offers more language practice opportunities and more time to spend with the host families to experience the Japanese life.  Students are expected to experience local life, exchange culture or explore the city together with their families in the weekends.  This program has beginner and intermediate level classes.

Classes are in the morning from 10:00 am-12:25 pm, language activities are in the afternoon from 1:30pm-3:10 pm.  Tea Ceremony, Calligraphy and trip to Asakusa are part of school activities.  Please refer to the program schedule for details.
