Travel Plan

Requirements:

Minimum age 14 by the program start date.  Participants are mainly high school and university students.

Our students come from different countries around the world, mainly from USA, Canada, and European countries. It is a great opportunity to make new friends.

Note:
Due to the peak travel during the summer and Olympics, please contact us if your flight is at different dates than our schedule.  A $50 surcharge will apply for non-scheduled pickup and separate orientation.

* Price subject to change without prior notice, especially for the BJOL program fee due to the Olympic season. 

* Group Plan:

We encourage you to bring friends to share the experience, come as a group of minimum 3 and each student receives a $75 rebate.

The program fee includes:

     Registration fee;
     Tuition and textbook for all courses;
     Double dormitory on campus (single dorm is possible for a surcharge) or single room homestay ;
     Meals during the stay in the program;
     Airport pickup & drop off;
     Culture activities, trips and tickets; (BJOL also includes Olympic game tickets )
     Medical insurance;
     Pre-departure program and travel guide;
     24 hour on site assistance (supervision for junior students).
     SHBJ program also include one-way flight between Beijing-Shanghai.

About financial aid:

Consortium Agreement: we accept college students' financial aid from their university or college on our program. Please ask your financial aid office about the policy and procedures, often you are required for approval for course credit first.  If approved, please fax or email us a copy of "Consortium Agreement" to sign.

 Travel Plan:

Please note that the international air fare is not included in the program fee.

For all students, we will pick up and drop off at the Beijing airport on the scheduled dates.  For SHBJ program, student can arrive at either Beijing or Shanghai.   Custom information and airport maps will be sent to you prior to departure. 

We can assist you with booking the air ticket (for travel from North America only).  Recent quoted DIRECT air fare from US west coast to Beijing is from $1424 (for BJ )or $1520 (for BJOL) with tax and fuel surcharge included, air fare is subject to change.

It is recommended that you compare the air travel between your travel agent and the one we referred to find one that best suit your needs.  The travel agency we referred is dedicated to China traveling, they often have competitive rates and offer different travel options. 

In a situation that you have to arrive or leave few days earlier or later than the schedule dates (subject to a minimal fee for arrangement, and fee for extra days of staying), please contact us and we will try to accommodate your schedule.  In this case, airport pickup, drop off and orientation will be included.
