Shanghai summer program: Courses - Culture Activities - Trips 
Courses: Our classes are conducted by state qualified teachers with many years experience of teaching Chinese language to international students. The language classes are Monday to Friday 20 lessons a week. They run in the morning from 8:30am-11:50am with each session 45 minutes. Students are separated into different classes according to their level of language proficiency. Culture Activities: The cultural lessons are in the afternoon including: Chinese cultural seminars, martial arts, calligraphy, Chinese painting. Our language activities and exchanges allow students to learn through practice while mingle with local peers. Trips: The trips are mainly held on the weekends, they include: Shanghai local attractions, Suzhou (China's Traditional Gardern City) and Hangzhou (an ancient city with near 5000 years history). Please refer to the schedule page for itineraries. The Beijing trip option include visit of the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Credits: Credit transfer is mainly for college students and sometimes for high school students. Students could earn credit for completing the summer programs. Upon finishing your courses, you will be provided with certificate, or letter of attendance stating the courses you completed, level, hours, and grade. The transcripts (certificates) are issued by the hosting university, which are all fully accredited programs. We can send you a course description if you intend to apply for a credit transfer, please bring it to your academic advisor.
